In 1997, the AFLA established the John C. Hazard Fund to promote the study of comparative law in memory of our past President (1973-1975) and preeminent scholar of Russian law at Columbia University Law School.

Each year the AFLA awards several foreign study grants to law students involved in a summer comparative law project. For more information please contact the AFLA.
